Spotlight Athlete-Mallory Sherrer
Spotlight Athlete-Dylan Nelson
Stats from Sachse game:
8 rushes for 59 yards, 1 TD
7 receptions for 246 yards, 3 TD
Dylan is the only returning offensive skill player from last year. He started at slot receiver last year. We have worked him at both the receiver and running back positions during spring ball and fall camp. His willingness to play both positions and his versatility has helped our offense be explosive in the run game and the pass game. I am proud of his hard work and his team first attitude.

This year's PC workout will be in the mornings before school starting September 7th.
Additionally, the Cowboys will be competing in 3 shootouts this fall at all levels. Shootouts allows players to define their roles and team chemistry and give coaches the chance to evaluate our progress during the fall offseason. The dates of those shootouts are Sept. 25th, Oct. 2nd, and Oct. 9th. Schedules for each shootout will be sent once the coaches have received them.
